At Bethel Witham, we are committed to creating a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for everyone who attends our church and activities.
We believe that every person is made in the image of God and should be treated with dignity, respect, and care. Safeguarding is an important part of our ministry and applies to all areas of church life, including children, young people, and adults who may be vulnerable.
We take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously and work to ensure that appropriate policies, procedures, training, and safer recruitment practices are in place. Our safeguarding arrangements are designed to promote the welfare of those in our care and to provide a safe environment for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and community activities.
All concerns are treated seriously and responded to appropriately.
If you have a safeguarding concern, or if you would like advice or support regarding the safety or wellbeing of a child, young person, or adult, please contact our safeguarding team.
